Activities to Engage

Community Drives for Direct Engagement, Support, sharing & networking

Community Bone fires: These will create a more intimate moment of belonging with the participants, including the community members which will create an open atmosphere of sharing and together planning.
Light my Africa: These will be school engagement moments where students will light candles of Education into a formation of the African Map as a significant replica of the Africa They Want where Education gives light to everything.
These will be followed by individual young people’s commitments of what they promise themselves to do in life to make the African Education dream come true.

The 1000 Friends Around Us survey

All our community organisations need to clearly understand the different perspectives of the immediate people around them as regards the work they do in the communities. This survey seeks to ask a few simple questions on a small card which can be filled in less than 3 minutes but capture the information that will be used to evaluate the immediate community around the areas and people that will be targeted for the progressing programs especially of engaging Men and Boys in supporting Girls’ Education as a mechanism for Ending Teenage Pregnancies and Child Marriages.

The influencers will be invited to share their experiences with the people in the field as regards the research and together will plan how to disseminate the research findings when they are finished.

Transparency, Advocacy and Accountability Clinics

This is targeting building the capacity of the Grassroots/community youth organizational members in the participating countries on how well they can understand, program, evaluate and future plan a sustainable community based/focused and driven policy for continued Advocacy on issues that concern the countries/communities they work in, inculcate utmost Transparency and Accountability mechanisms in their programing for a trusted and sustainable strategy for continued collaboration, growth and achievement.
